Product Owner

Job Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for the development of the Risk Management & Bets product area within a sportsbook / betting platform.

This role involves working at the intersection of Trading, Risk, Operations, and Engineering to develop functionality related to risk management, limitations, betting acceptance rules, and betting flows.

What you’ll be doing:

• Shape and develop the product vision for the Risk Management & Bets domain;
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from Trading, Risk, Operations, and partners;
• Manage the team backlog and create tasks for the Engineering team;
• Define and enhance functionality such as bet limits, risk rules, player restrictions, exposure management, bet validation flows, manual and automatic trading rules, and settlement-related logic;
• Analyze betting flows and identify opportunities to improve UX and reduce operational risks;
• Work with analytics, metrics, and the business impact of product changes;
• Coordinate collaboration across Trading, Risk, Fraud, Operations, Data, and Development teams;
• Participate in discovery, planning, refinement, and delivery processes;
• Prepare product documentation, acceptance criteria, and release notes;
• Oversee delivery and support features after release.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst;
• Experience in the betting / sportsbook / gambling domain will be a strong advantage;
• Understanding of sportsbook mechanics, betting lifecycle, odds and markets basics, risk management principles, and player limitation approaches;
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and product processes;
• Ability to work with a large volume of business logic and complex systems;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions;
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum processes;
• English level: Intermediate+ or higher.
