Product Owner

Job Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner / Business Analyst-type specialist who can help transform business needs into clear, prioritized, and delivered product solutions.

The main focus of this role is to act as the link between the business and the delivery team: gather and formalize requirements, break ideas down into actionable tasks, support them through to release, and ensure transparency for everyone involved in the process.

This role sits at the intersection of product thinking, delivery coordination, and business analysis. It is not just about “passing tasks to development,” but about helping the team understand what is being built, why it matters, how it should work, and what dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria are involved. At the core of this role are backlog clarity, stakeholder alignment, high-quality acceptance criteria, and the ability to move initiatives from idea to release.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Managers and the Trading team, to gather, clarify, and formalize requirements.
  • Analyze business needs and break ideas down into clear development tasks.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria so the team has a shared understanding of the expected outcome before implementation starts.
  • Validate requirements before handing them over to development and help resolve ambiguities during delivery.
  • Prioritize tasks together with the Product Manager, and work with dependencies, risks, and blockers.
  • Support tasks throughout the full lifecycle: Idea → Development → Release.
  • Coordinate alignment between Front-end, Back-end, and Data Science teams, ensuring shared understanding of context and status.
  • Facilitate grooming, planning, and sync meetings, and answer team questions during development.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation together with the Tech Writer, including functionality descriptions, business logic, and change documentation.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog management, and roadmap planning together with Product Managers.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT in roles such as Product Owner / Product Manager / Project Manager / Business Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience working with requirements: gathering, analyzing, decomposing, and formalizing.
  • Understanding of the SDLC and core software development processes.
  • Experience using Jira / Confluence as core delivery tools.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Skills in prioritization, dependency management, and risk handling.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture, including a microservices approach.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking, with attention to detail.
  • Proactivity, independence, and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
  • English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of trading and betting.
  • Experience with functional testing.
  • Interest in esports and video games.
  • Experience working with analytics.
